2025 Calendars

2025 Art Direction

This selection of works features all new art for 2025 Calendars. One of the most important aspects of designing a new title, is to create multiple looks for the cover. This involves trying multiple images and font treatments and then going through a review process to discuss which is working and which is not.  Below are a few new titles that I worked on for 2025.

The Faerie World of Amy Brown

Final cover & interior spread design

I’ve loved Amy Brown’s fairy art since I was a teenager, so it was really fun being able to design for this title. Amy Brown’s art was licensed by Sellers Publishing for 2025 Calendars, courtesy of Tate Licensing.

The first part of creating a look and feel for a new title is to study some font options for the front cover title. I often do a font study to be able to see how certain fonts work with the text. Above you can see an example of the font study for this title, as well as some alternate cover options.

Pickleball Wall Calendar

Final cover & interior spread design

New for 2025, this particular title is licensed for Sellers Publishing by Courtney Morgenstern, Courtesy of MHS Licensing. I manipulated the artists’ work to develop a few different cover options.

2025 Product Development

One of my favorite aspects of product development is researching new artists to license content from. I loved working with Kristin Heldt’s art for Nature & Hope, as well as Kenzie Elston’s art for Born to Bloom.
